As the appointed Councillor to the King Environmental Advisory Committee, (KEAC)  it is my great pleasure to inform you of a very important initiative that is being undertaken to educate local businesses and residents of the opportunities available for implementing green energy projects in your homes and businesses.

The seminar is to be held on January 28, 2010 at the King City Arena on Doctors Lane in King City starting at 6:30pm. If you’ve been toying with the idea of adding solar panels to your roof or a small windmill in your back yard, this is the perfect chance for you to get some solid information from individuals who have gone thru the process, and from some green energy companies that will be in attendance.

Also, hats off to the hard work of our volunteer KEAC members,  J.R. Leo, Bruce Craig, Susan Beharriell, Ed Tsang, Harvey Tenenbaum, Cinzia Scalabrini, and Hans Martin, and to our King Township Staff Liaison Jennifer Best who have been working diligently for months to bring this informative event to our community.

See the flyer (below) for details and hope to see you there!

    • Councillor Mortelliti My name is Cleve Mortelliti and I am the Councillor for Ward 1 in the Township of King, Ontario – Canada.

I love this Township. King City has been my home since 1972. From 2004 to 2006 I had the privilege to work as an Engineering Administrator for the Township of King. But my overriding desire to make a real difference and to have a more positive, impactful influence on the shape and form of the development wave that is coming to King, led me to leave my employment with the Township and declare my candidacy for Councillor of Ward 1 (King City, Snowball, Kettleby).

At approximately 10:00pm on November 13th, 2006 I was truly thrilled to learn that the residents and ratepayers of Ward 1 had bestowed their trust in me to serve as their councillor for the next 4 years . I have since been, and continue to be honoured to represent you, and to be Your Voice in King.
